If I had to pick a motto that best suited my personality it would most likely be “what is old is new,” for those close to me know that I love to reuse, recycle, and upcycle at any chance I get. I suppose I first became “green” during my childhood (without even knowing I was “green”) because I have always enjoyed reconfiguring something old and breathing new life into it with some creativity.
Building on this mantra over the years, I amassed a closet filled with many vintage goodies that I picked up at flea markets, consignment shops, yard sales, and even my grandmother’s “time capsule-ish” attic. This particular outfit was compiled primarily of flea market finds for a fabulous night out in the city and includes a recycled copper wire ring that I crafted myself (full DIY tutorial to come). As always, enjoy and Happy Green Friday!
